The Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) transitioned to a new system to maintain and manage user accounts.

If you do not have an existing OH|ID account

  1. Create an OH|ID account
  2. Login using your newly created OH|ID account
  3. Search for and request access to the ‘Insurance Application Gateway’ application.  
  4. If your OH|ID email address is same as your existing ODI account email address your accounts will be matched and linked automatically. You can also match your account by providing ODI user name and password.

If you already have an existing OH|ID account

  1. Login using your OH|ID account
  2. Search for and request access to the ‘Insurance Application Gateway’ application.  
  3. When you access the application for the first time, you will get a screen with ‘Match Account’ and ‘New Account’ options.
  4. To maintain access to previously entered data, select the ‘Match Account’ option to link your OH|ID account to existing ODI account.
  5. Selecting 'New Account' will not give you access to previously entered data.
  6. Follow the instructions to match with email ID or ODI user ID.
